A row of flattened setae on the basitarsus that along with the calcar forms part of an antennal cleaning organ; in most chalcids the basitarsal comb consists of a longitudinal row of obliquely directed setae along the ventral margin of the basitarsus, though in some chalcids the row is very short and obliquely angled.
